About the role
Help us repaint the paneled wall at the south end of our Freight Room. This opportunity will take place May 19–21, probably with one day for surface prep and another for painting. Responsibilities may include:
Climbing a ladder to reach the top of a ~10-foot wall
Sanding, spackling, and priming
Putting up and working within a zip wall for dust control
Taping down protective plastic and drop-cloths
Painting with a paint sprayer, roller, and/or brushes
Working with water-based interior paint
Experience with interior and/or professional painting projects is a plus, but not required. Please wear clothes you don't mind getting stained, and sturdy footwear.
This is a perfect short-term engagement for a small group looking to make a noticeable local impact.
