2026.2 Abandoned Property Notice

NOTICE OF ABANDONED PROPERTY DECLARATION OR TERMINATION OF LOAN-INTENT TO CLAIM PROPERTY.

Pursuant to Title 63.26 RCW, Issaquah History Museums hereby declares that it has the following property in its possession:

  1. Found in collection(FIC)/Inventory of Auto Freight Building at Issaquah History Museums - Parlor Stove. Consists of four parts; main body, base, legs & accessories. Includes leaf motif detailing and a plaining black base. More details were not identified due to the preservation tyvek wrapping that protects the stove in a building with poor conditions. Please contact the museum with your intent of ownership to identify further details.

    1. Presumably from the local area, but no documentation. The stove was cared for by a long term volunteer Greg Spranger. He believed it was a particularly nice example.

    2. Previously tagged with a green inventory tag meaning is accessioned, but if not, it should be.

    3. No accession paperwork or deed of gift could be identified.

This Property has been held for five years or more without claim by any party.

THE ISSAQUAH HISTORY MUSEUMS HAS BEEN UNABLE TO LOCATE THE PROPERTY OWNER DUE TO A LACK OF DOCUMENTATION.

All persons who have knowledge of this property or the whereabouts of the owner should provide written notice to the museum.


IF WRITTEN ASSERTION OF TITLE IS NOT PRESENTED TO THE MUSEUM BY OCTOBER 25, 2026, THE PROPERTY IS DEEMED ABANDONED OR DONATED AND SHALL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF ISSAQUAH HISTORY MUSEUMS.
