About this event
The remote "Squak Valley" and its few hundred migrant miners, loggers, farmers and their families who had joined the indigenous peoples in calling this place home was on the cusp of an economic and cultural boom that arrived with the train in 1888 and statehood in 1889. Come hear their stories and see their photos at this evening of storytelling at the historic Train Depot.
Doors open at 6:45.
