Issaquah on Tap walking guides

Join us for the return of Issaquah on Tap—a guided tour that takes attendees from the Depot to three local food-and-drink venues for drinks, bites, and history! As a walking guide, you'll get to enjoy the food and storytelling too.

We're looking for walking guides who:

• Are over 21

• Know Issaquah's downtown well enough to lead a group of up to 12 paying attendees from the Depot to each of our venues (ex: Stan's Bar-B-Q, Big Picture) and back again

• Can keep their assigned group on schedule, moving between venues every ~20 minutes

• Can project their voices loud enough to be heard over Front Street traffic

• Are comfortable sharing information about some of Issaquah's downtown landmarks (ex: the logging mural on Sunset Way) from a prepared script

• Are happy to joke, interact, and just generally ensure guests have a great time

• Will dress for the event—either in an IHM volunteer t-shirt or a period costume (think 1860s through about 1920)

Having a working knowledge of Issaquah's history is helpful but not required; guests often ask questions between venues. (We'll send you a primer document you can peruse at your leisure!)
