Trailblazers exhibit setup: Large object movers

Help us install our much-anticipated new exhibit, Trailblazers, at the Issaquah Depot Museum. We'll need volunteers to help us move large furniture objects (with assistance) in and out of the Issaquah Depot Museum and over to the Auto Freight Building and/or Gilman Town Hall.

 

Responsibilties may include:

• Moving heavy objects, such as benches, cases, display stands, and artifacts, possibly up and down stairs and ramps

• Wrapping and/or protecting artifacts for their move

• Driving and/or walking objects between the Issaquah Depot Museum and Gilman Town Hall

We'll have several furniture dollies, hand trucks, and rolling carts on hand to make it easier. (And if you've got one of your own, feel free to bring it!)
