About the role
Help engage IVE students and families in local history by staffing our table at IVE's Multicultural Night, April 22. We'll have an assortment of historical artifacts and props for students and their families to explore.
Responsibilies may include:
Helping to set up our table at the event, including unpacking and arranging supplies
Greeting table visitors and sharing basic info about IHM (ex: museum hours, mission)
Keeping count of individuals we interact with on our clicker
Helping visitors interact with our historical artifacts and props
Sharing stories and facts about early Issaquah
This is an ideal opportunity former educators, museum docents, and anyone who just loves to chitchat about local history.

Requirements
or new volunteers, this opportunity requires a background check and 2 personal/professional references (non-family). Preference will be given to volunteers who've worked with us in the past, have a working knowledge of Issaquah's local history, and/or have a background in education.
