About the role
Help the Issaquah History Museums create and maintain a cohesive, compelling visual presence through flyers, posters, brochures, web assets, and more. We're looking for help from graphic and visual designers who can:
Use Canva or a similar design application to create and share designs for print or web
Work with contemporary photos as well as historical images
Create template designs that can be repurposed for multiple events, editions, etc.
Create email- and web-friendly banner art, social media assets, etc.
Follow our brand guide for font, color, and logo use—and provide an informed perspective on how we can improve and iterate on it
Work with pre-written copy, and either share text-editable versions with staff or respond within a day to copy changes
No professional experience is necessary, but work samples are required. Please include a link to your portfolio in your sign-up, or email samples to volunteers@issaquahhistory.org.

Qualifications
Light but steady, long-term availability preferred. Background check required for individuals 18+. Portfolio of previous work to be reviewed by IHM staff.
